Caroline pulled Markus off (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

The soldier coughed. "18 year old graduate from the 104th Trainee Corps. Rank 2 in the Top Ten, Chadwick Landon Stafford was last seen escaping a 3 meter titan and a few other taller ones running on foot as if his Gear had broken down or run out of gas. He wasn't seen since." The soldier looked around. "There is a 93% chance he is dead."

The room went silent. Sarah's eyes widened as the sounds around the room were clogged from her hearing. Her eyes started to water, yet she wasn't crying yet.

Annabelle's eyes did the same, except she was sniffing and holding back tears. Behind her, Martin and Frederick stood trying to grasp the news.

"You mother fucker!" Markus yelled, raising to hit the soldier. Caroline grabbed his arm, restraining him. He muttered something, spit at the soldiers feet and then walked out, his eyes starting to water.

Orion turned and walked away, no one saw his reaction. No one saw if he was even crying. Not even the person who was next to him // "He-He's Dead?!" Axel said, in shock

The Soldier nodded at Axel. "93% chance." He repeated. "However, all of you need to get in gear and get inside Wall Rose." With that, he and the Garrison soldiers left the castle.

Axel punched the nearest wall in rage, leaving a dent (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

The 9 Heroes later traveled into Wall Rose where they walked around the streets nearest to the wall. A few soldiers were nearby holding three kids for interrogation with a canon on hand. However, no one knew of this happening.

Orion looked out to the sky, his eyes wandering

Markus walks outside, his eyes red and his knuckles bloody from punching countless walls. He didn't look up, just stared at the ground.

Caroline finished her supportive conversation with Annabelle and Sarah, then walked over to Markus, holding his bruised and bloody hand and looking at him, worried.

The heroes had spent a few minutes fixing their gear in the town square just in front of the gate leading out of Wall Rose. Orange lightning had struck the sky a few minutes prior to this moment, leaving the whole town squad of soldiers in awe and shock.

Markus looked around at the others, hoping for the sight of Chadwick. Once he didn't see him and gave up on looking he began to walk away from the others, lost in thought.

A few minutes after the lightning had came and gone, soldiers in the streets were panicking due to the incidents in Trost, Commander Pixis stood on top of Wall Rose and gave a short speech with a 15 year old kid named Eren Jaeger at his side, he proposed that this man would close the hole to Wall Rose with his newly found titan abilities.
