Battle for the Trost District Arc: "Dawn of the End"

A week after graduating. Chadwick stood on the wall above the gate leading into Wall Rose. He stared out over the Trost District, a large city. He could see specs of people on the opposite wall where the main cannons were. He knew this was squad one of the 104th Graduates. (Where Eren and those fkers are (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞)

Orion tapped his shoulder as he stood beside him "We did it, eh Chadwick?" He asked.

Markus sat staring out over the city, lost in thought. He was still surprised he made such a high rank.
He let out a long sigh, happy that everything was being normal for once.

Caroline was talking to Sarah off to the side.

Axel sat beside Markus "Hey" He said

Chadwick looked out over the Trost district as a small breeze picked up. He turned his head and saw the other top ten graduates checking the cannons on the wall. "We did do it." He replied. He gave a smile as he looked over the district.

"Hey Axel, any idea on what you're going to choose next week?" He asked, trying to make small talk. Before Axel could answer, he turned to Chadwick." I told you that, back the day we first met. I told you you'd make it." He smiled, and then turned back to Axel.

"Feels nice not training all the time, we can relax" Orion continued // "I still want to explore with the Corps" Axel said, looking towards the horizon

A green hue rang out across the sky and an orange lightning bolt shot out on the opposite side of the district. In an instant, the Colossal titan that appeared 5 years ago, had surfaced once more. Chadwick stood back as he watched it kick a hole in the wall sending the soldiers on that wall flying off.

"DAFUQ" Orion shouted // Axel leaped back from the wall once the titan appeared, stumbling to the ground

Chadwick gritted his teeth as he watched the Colossal disappear and titans stream into the Trost District. His mind flashed back to a week ago, the commander telling him and the other graduates to report to the castle inside Wall Sina if any titans entered the district they were in. "Everyone!" Chadwick turned around and shouted at the others. "We have to get to Sina as quick as we can and regroup with the others. Then we can come back to Trost!" Chadwick ran to the opposite side of the wall and turned his 3D Maneuver Gear on so he could get to a horse and get to Sina as quick as possible.

Markus's eyes grew wide as he looked out over the district, titans began pouring in through the hole. He stood up, standing next to Chadwick and Orion.


Caroline stopped mid conversation when the lightning struck. Her eyes grew wide, and then narrowed with anger. She walked over and stood next to Markus, ready to use her 3D maneuver device to get down there as soon as possible.

Orion jumped onto a horse to follow Chadwick, but his brother had a different approach. He jumped on his horse and went a different route

"GO!" Markus yelled to the others as he cut and followed Axel on horseback. He caught up with him shortly. "What are you doing?" He yelled.

Caroline followed Chadwick and the others.

Orion caught up to Chadwick "Whats the plan?" He yelled over the wind // "Im flanking the Titans!" Axel yelled, getting faster

"Not alone you're not! You'll get yourself killed!" Markus yelled, matching speed with him as the first titans began entering the middle of the city.

"Then let's go!" Axel yelled, making a sharp turn

"Getting to the castle the commander told us to get to if this happened!" Chadwick shouted back. He turned and noticed everyone except Markus and Axel with us. "Dammit." He muffled, He looked down at his horse and looked up seeing the next wall already in view. "Try and last long enough." He muffled again giving Markus and Axel hope.

(Time Transition)

A half an hour later, The soldiers were dismissed after their meeting at the castle. Chadwick walked out and got onto his horse followed by the 7 others. "We need to get to Trost again, make sure Markus and Axel's diversion was succesful!" He kicked the side of his horse and took off towards Trost again, Sarah and Martin followed after.

"Then why are we waiting?" Orion said, speeding forward // Axel sliced through another nape on a titan "That's 7!" He yelled to Markus, Axel was in the mood as if he was playing a game

Markus had been knocked off of his horse by a 7 meter titan, he now zipped through the rooftops and alleyways of Trost district using his 3D Maneuver device. He shot his grapple into a 10 meter titan's shoulder, swinging around it, he used his swords like scissors, cutting the titan's neck. It fell to the ground and Markus noticed others (Eren's group) still there as well. He turned his head to the left when he heard a kid scream, what he saw was a titan closing it's mouth on a kid, his arm getting chopped off in the progress. Markus shook his head and turned away, just as he neared another titan. He flew past it's head, chopping the nape as he passed.

After a few moments. Axel heard a thump behind him. He turned and saw Chadwick standing on the head of a titan laying on a building. "Need help?" He asked, wiping titan blood off his cheek. Behind him, Annabelle sliced the nape of another titan.

"I was on a killstreak, but sure" Axel gave a smile before he grappled onto a titans chest, the grapple launched Axel up as it retracted back towards him, he used his other hook to grapple the 10m's head, sending him down towards the neck and a fast speed, Axel swiftly sliced the titans nape as he reached the neck, the titan falling to his knees

Chadwick turned his head to see a titan with long black hair walking slowly towards another soldier. He widened his eyes and grit his teeth. Chadwick grappled from building to building until he got close to the titan, which was now facing him. He looked at it's face and knew it wasn't the one who had killed his family. Although he was already grappling onto the titan's face and doing a back flip using much more gas than needed. He quit the back flip once he got over the titan's head and a look of murder flashed in his eyes as he grappled down onto the neck and shot into it's nape. The titan collapsed into a small clock tower next to it with Chadwick exiting the nape a few seconds later.

Markus was almost at a Varient titan when Caroline grappled past him, going at the titan at high speeds, she sliced it's nape, used it's falling body to grapple, flying over it and then slicing another titan that was in front of it. "God damn." Markus said, grinning. He shot a grapple over to the right, hitting a chimney. He flew past the chimney, landing on a titan's head, He did a cartwheel towards it's back, slicing it's nape with both swords before grappling elsewhere.

Chadwick shot across the area, murder flashing in his eyes as he killed and killed every black haired titan he saw, other titans in the mixture as well. The rain began to fall and wash the blood in the streets.

Sarah flew through a street as the rain poured down, she was using too much gas as she sliced titans left and right without having to stop.

Frederick sliced down on a variant titan, he hopped off and tried grappling again, although his grapples were jammed. "Oh no.." He thought, he turned his head and saw a 8m titan with short grey hair notice him, it started walking towards him. "Shitshitshitshit." He started jogging only to watch as the titan sped up. "SHISHITSHITSHITSHIT (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞" He started sprinting down the street with his blade-less holsters trying to fix his gear.
