104th Trainees Squad Arc: "New Meetings"

"A picnic sounds nice." Chadwick replied. He had his arms behind his head as he stared up into the sky watching the clouds stroll past.

"Then it's settled. Now to go get some food!" Caroline said, she stood up on the branch, did two cartwheels before back flipping off of the end. She landed perfectly and then waited for the others.

Markus rubbed his face as he jumped down from the branch. He seemed tired.

----------Timeskip, to after picnic. Location: Dorm room thing.----

"Night girls." Markus said as the guys and girls split off, going to their seperate sleeping quarters. "One hell of a day, quality time with the people we're most likely going to spend the rest of our natural born lifes with."

(Time Skip - Another Year Later)

One Year Later, early in the year 850, The 104th Trainees Squad had started Graduation week. The graduations were split into two days. Chadwick and his classes would graduate on the second day, which was today. He stood in line with a salute standing in between Sarah and Annabelle. Martin and Frederick were a few rows back while everyone else was in the row behind them. They patiently awaited for the high ranked soldiers to come out and explain who were in the top ten.

Martin bent forward while he still kept onto his salute. He whispered into Markus's ear since he was behind him. "Division choosing is in a few weeks, the top ten get higher chance of acceptance into the divisions." He had a cheerful tone in his voice.

"I know, I hope you make it man. You're a good soldier." Markus whispered back to him, without moving. He released the hand behind his back, for Martin to give him a high five.

Caroline was in front of Markus, she was shaking, not really sure if it was because she was happy, or nervous.

Orion stood beside Axel, both in formation, waiting to be called

After a few minutes, (Forgot what they were so Imma just say this) The soldiers from the show that were at the graduation ceremony stood proud with a salute dismissing everyone from their salute. He read a paper. "Good evening 104th Trainees Squad! Welcome to Day 2 of the Graduation ceremony!" He talked a little while more about division choosing in a few weeks and all that important military stuff.

Frederick held his hands at his side and bobbed back and forth from the long speech.

Markus stood completely still, waiting for the rankings.


Caroline flexed her fingers by her side as she waited, Markus reached slightly forward, grabbing her hand to calm her (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞.

"Now here come your hopes." One of the soldiers shouted. "Ranking for the top ten!" The trainees shouted out in excitement but were then quieted down. "Taking the Tenth rank in the top ten, Frederick Pelletier!" Frederick stood forward and stepped in front of the rest of the soldiers in the gap between the stage and the trainees. He put his arms into the salute as the trainees clapped.

"Taking the Ninth rank in the Top ten, Martin Schwartz!" The soldier shouted out. Martin joined Frederick a few moments later getting into the same position and standing at his left side.

Chadwick gave a small clap wondering how he got into the top ten.

"Taking the Eight Rank in the Top Ten, Katherine Schmidt!" The crowd gave claps, the soldiers awaited for Katherine to join Frederick and Martin at the front (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

Katherine stepped through the first row to the front and saluted, joining Martin and Frederick in line.

When Martin's name was called, Markus patted him on the back as he passed. And when Katherine was called, he just clapped. (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

"Taking the Seventh rank in the top ten!" The soldier shouted, he unfolded the paper he was holding. "Axel Slade!" The soldiers clapped.

Axel walked up to the line, giving a wave before getting pack into position

"Taking the Sixth rank in the Top Ten!" The soldier unfolded the paper again. "Annabelle Springston!" The soldiers clapped loudly as Annabelle stepped forward. She turned her head towards Chadwick who smiled and clapped. She turned her blushing face up and saluted as she stood next to Katherine and Axel. (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

"Approaching to the top five!" Another soldier shouted. The soldier holding the paper unfolded it and read, "Taking the Fifth rank in the Top Ten, Caroline Hartmann!" Soldiers clapped wildly.

Caroline grinned as she turned around, turning around to hug Markus quickly and then she walked up to the others. Grinning wildly.

"Taking the Fourth Rank in the Top Ten, Orion Slade!" Claps were heard around the trainees, not alot, although they were loud claps.

When Orion was going to walk past, Chadwick would nod in approval (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

Orion nods back, he slowly, walks towards the line, his hands up until he got to the line, where he returned into his position (☞ﾟ∀ﾟ)☞

"Taking the Third Rank in the Top Ten, Markus Ritter!" The soldier shouted out. Loud claps rang around the area as Markus stepped forward. Chadwick nodded at Markus as well.

Markus nodded back patting Chadwick on the shoulder as he passed. He was red by the time he got to the others, he held his hands out in front of him, thanking everyong and then got in line.

Chadwick looked around and noticed he and Sarah were the only ones left from his class. He looked up as the soldier opened the paper.

"Taking the Second Rank in the Top Ten.." He paused. "Chadwick Stafford!" Claps rang loudly and echoed around as Chadwick kept the same facial expression and walked straight forward. Katherine and Axel shifted to the side as Chadwick stepped into the middle of the other 8 soldiers.

"And Finally." The soldier shouted. "The person taking the First rank in the Top Ten!" The soldiers clapped nonstop, a few soldiers straightened their jackets as the soldier opened the paper. "Sarah Stafford takes first!" Some clapping stopped although most of the clapping rang louder as Sarah stood forward and stood on the edge standing next to Markus.
"Congratulations Soldiers!" The soldier then went into a long speech as everyone then got into a salute.

"Good job Sarah." Markus whispered to her, not moving from his salute.

"Same to you." Sarah responded

The soldier dropped the paper and continue talking after the other graduates left, the top ten stayed put. "Congratulations soldiers, Division choosing is in two weeks as a reminder." He saw a few heads nod. "Your first patrol will be in a week in the Trost District." He hopped off the stage and gave a salute standing in front of the ten graduates.
