Secrets of the Titan Arc: "Flashback"

Chadwick abruptly shot up from his laying down position. He gave a mild pant as he held his hand onto his forehead. He thought for a second and looked around, he was in a bed inside the castle. He looked outside and noticed it dark outside. As if the sun had just barely set. He got off the bed he was on and walked to the doorway leading out of the room he was in. He cracked it open and walked into the hallway lit by lanterns.

Sarah sat in the meeting room with her arms crossed. "I wonder how Chadwick and Orion are doing, they've been out longer than normal." She said as if nothing was new.

Axel was on a chair with his head down, stitched up from the last battle // Orion was still out, laying on a bed

Markus and Caroline sat in their bed. A dim lantern was on Markus's bed side table. They sat in silence.

Martin nodded. He had his feet crossed on top of the meeting room table. "Weren't the others supposed to be here soon?" He asked with his eyes closed, he looked as if he were asleep.

Axel continued to sit silently in the meeting room, head down, as if he was staring at something ヽ༼ຈل͜ຈ༽ﾉ

Markus and Caroline come down a few minutes later. Markus, wearing a dark brown Brigadier force jacket, his black hoodie and black boots, Caroline dressed the same all except for the hoodie, which was substituted for a white button up shirt.

"We're all here, we can start the meeting." Sarah stated.

Katherine spoke up. "Why do you think Orion tried to attack Chadwick?"

"Most likely out of control. Chadwick was like that, I helped him through it." Markus spoke up as he sat at the table, his eyes seemed sunken, from lack of sleep. He had been up every night for the past week, something was bothering him.

Annabelle was sitting on one of the tables in the room. "Before Orion attacked, he seemed shaken up during the whole time he was there."

"His father had just died, possibly he took his anger out on the first thing he saw that was his size." Caroline said.

Annabelle nodded. "True, and did you see Chadwick's expressions when Orion shifted? It's as if his heart dropped. I wonder why."

At this time, Chadwick was listening in through the door, he was being quiet enough for them to keep talking until he showed himself.

"Yeah, I have no clue why--" Markus was saying as Chadwick entered. "There he is."

Chadwick stared at everyone in the room, his body slowly bobbing as if his heart was beating too hard. He didn't say a word.

"What's wrong?" Caroline asked as she looked up from the table.

Markus looked concerned as he stood, his arm still in a sling from before. "What's wrong Chadwick?" He asked, stepping toward him.

Axel put the thing in his pants pocket and got up, the chair he was sitting on fell onto the ground

Chadwick held his hand out to stop Markus from moving. He used his other hand and held his forehead. "Why were you talking about the shifters..?" He asked in confusion.

"Well. Sarah brought up the topic, and it kind of just went on from there." Markus said, stunned by his reaction.

Chadwick stumbled over to the table and sat in an empty seat. He rested his elbow on the table and held his hand over his face. Still, did he not say a word.

Axel slowly walked up to the table before smashing his fist into it, breaking the table itself. The guys see Axel with tears falling from his eyes, he quickly escaped the room and smashing the door shut (#VentingAnger) (⌐ ■ ͜ʖ ■)

Sarah looked at the door, she understood Axel's sudden anger and stayed put.

Annabelle was sitting on a chair across from Chadwick on the table they were sitting on. Frederick next to her, and Martin stood near the doorway where Axel had charged out of.

Axel walked outside, looking as if he was going somewhere

Markus had been sitting next to Chadwick, Caroline in the chair across from him. He stood partially when Axel had his outbreak, but eventually sat back down. His injury, the broken arm. Was now almost completely healed, which he kept a secret by hiding it in the sling, and acting as if it he was still in immense pain.

Chadwick had his hands on his forehead and rested his arms down on the table. The silence of the room went on for a few seconds, the only noises were the flickering of the lantern and the noises of Chadwick's heavy breathing, which was starting to slow down to normal speed.

"What's wrong, Chadwick?" Markus asked silently, staring across the table at Caroline with concern.

Sarah had her cloak on her lap as she sat at one of the chairs at the table they were sitting at. Annabelle, Katherine, Frederick, and Martin were resting against the walls and pillars in the room. Chadwick shook his head in his hands and slammed one of them down onto the table. He opened his hand and tilted it up so his palm was facing him. He clenched his fist and then released it thinking about how his father made him a monster. He kept his head down and replied. "Nothing. I'm fine." He turned his head and his eyes were closed. "How was the Karanese District up until I arrived there?" He asked anyone, changing the subject.
